The position
As a Sourcing Project Lead, your primary role involves serving as a facilitator of the sourcing framework and collaborate with category managers to drive sourcing projects, supplier selection, and go-to-market events. You will approach these responsibilities from a project execution, process, and training perspective.

Your success will depend on your ability to leverage your strategic insights and experiences by bringing value to category managers, and other sourcing professionals, decision making process.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Designing, anchoring, and promoting continuously our best-in-class sourcing processes and frameworks to be utilized by our category management teams
Coaching and training sourcing and category managers in the sourcing processes
Applying your business acumen and strategic understanding to challenge and help execute the category strategies
Acting as an ambassador of the SSN Co E across the unit and Novo Nordisk in general

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has deep sourcing experience and are looking to finetune their skillset and competences in a professional and engaging setting.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:

Hold a M.Sc. degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or equivalent
Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in driving strategic sourcing projects and supplier negotiations, or alternatively consultancy experience
Demonstrate strong sourcing process understanding with the ability to challenge ways of working
Showcase a strategic mindset and an ability to quickly understand different business models and dynamics
Display fluency in both verbal and written English

As a person, you naturally take responsibility for driving sourcing and processes excellence forward, interacting with stakeholders at all levels. It is important that you feel comfortable challenging the status quo and can promote alternative solutions to the benefit of the organization. You are a natural anchor point in the department, coaching less experienced people, and your colleagues will naturally turn to you for guidance and advice. You communicate clearly and concisely and are comfortable in giving presentations and facilitating training, allowing you to translate complex topics to a broad audience. You like to impact decision-making through clear recommendations, always founded on solid data and analysis.

About the department
The SSN Co E department is part of GSOD function located in Høje Tåstrup, Denmark. We have the global direct spend responsibility managing a network of outsourced partnerships for Product Supply.
