Specialist - Data Center

Kongens Lyngby

FULL TIME

November 11, 2024

Do you want to be a part of the development within the data center industry? Are you a recent graduate or do you have a few years of experience? And would you like to grow into a professional expert or become a project manager? Then become one of COWI's data center specialists.
Turn challenges into sustainable solutions
To help us with all disciplines within electrical engineering, with a focus on emergency power supply in low-voltage installations, we are looking for a Specialist to join our team in the Industry and Data Center section in Lyngby. We are approximately 65 team members, and our primary services include detailed electrical design, project management, and sustainability management. We specialize in design of Data Centre buildings, technical due diligence, commissioning, construction management, supervision, energy screening, and technical services related to green development and sustainability, focusing on electrical systems. We have a holistic approach to projects and strive to create the maximum value for our customers, which includes large Danish and international companies within the industrial and data center segments.
In the industrial department, we also aim to strengthen our expertise in the medium-voltage area, giving you the opportunity to influence our professional development with your skills and future growth.
Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Design, planning, specification, follow-up, supervision, and quality assurance,
  • Lead or handle tasks related to electrical low- and medium-voltage systems, emergency power systems and data, telecommunication, and security systems,
  • Create projects together with our customers.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you have:
  • A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent,
  • Ability to establish contacts and be outgoing,
  • Flexibility to customer needs,
  • Ability to inspire others and to be inspired by thoughts and ideas from others,
  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
A place to work and so much more
At COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and liveable world. We do it by applying our knowledge and curiosity – and sometimes even our courage – to create the solutions the world needs today to enable a better tomorrow. That is why we say no to fossil-based projects and aspire to have 100% of our revenue come from activities that move our customers towards sustainability.
We value differences and development and cultivate an environment of belonging and having fun. Because that is what brings out the best in you, at work and at home.
With offices primarily located in the Nordic region, the UK, North America and India, we are currently more than 8,000 people who bring their expertise in engineering, architecture, energy and environment into play.
Got more questions?
If you have any unanswered questions about the role or what we have to offer, please reach out to Head of Section Nicolai Kamuk Rosenfalck at NKRK@COWI.COM.

And we take diversity and inclusion into account in all relevant decisions and processes and when setting teams and fora. We do it because it is part of our values and because it is simply the right thing to do.
