Join Saxo Group as the Vendor and Outsourcing Governance Lead, a strategic leadership role within our Digital Resilience & Trust Department. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clear governance structures to manage vendors and outsourcing relationships effectively.

Your role will ensure that these relationships align with the bank's objectives and enhance overall Digital Resilience and Trust. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the Saxo Group.

Responsibilities

Vendor and Outsourcing Governance:

Establish and maintain clear governance structures to manage vendor and outsourcing relationships effectively.
Operate the Vendor Governance and Outsourcing Committee, taking responsibility for managing critical outsourcing within the Bank.
Ensure compliance with DORA and other applicable regulations related to third-party risk management.

Risk and Compliance Monitoring:

Implement robust mechanisms to continuously monitor and report on risks, compliance, and performance metrics for vendors and outsourced services.
Conduct timely assessments and identify risks related to vendors and critical outsourcing, focusing on security, data protection, privacy, ethical use of AI, and other types of risk assessments.

Strategic Alignment and Accountability:

Ensure that outsourcing and vendor strategies align with the bank's objectives.
Hold vendors accountable through clear governance structures and regular audits to ensure data protection, security, privacy, and ethics.

Vendor and Critical Outsourcing Risk Assessment:

Conduct timely assessments and identify risks related to vendors and critical outsourcing, focusing on security, data protection, privacy, and ethical AI, among others.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in vendor and outsourcing governance.
Foster a culture of accountability and proactive risk management within the team.
Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the Saxo Group to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Your profile

We imagine you having 7+ years of experience in vendor management and outsourcing governance, preferably within a financial institution. Experience with regulatory requirements such as DORA, and other regulations related to outsourcing, critical vendors, and third-party risk management. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to vendor and outsourcing governance.

Moreover, we are looking for a colleague with proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives and someone with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring for vendors and outsourced services.

Other important characteristics include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
