General Call for Technical Experts, Ecuador
ACDI/VOCA is seeking multiple positions for an upcoming Climate Change Mitigation through Sustainable Land Use Activity in Ecuador funded by USAID. The anticipated program will promote sustainable livelihoods and advance natural climate solutions in areas affected by deforestation and land degradation through greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction and mitigation efforts.
The program is anticipated to start in 2025, and these positions will be based in Ecuador.
Responsibilities: Seeking candidates with the following expertise:

• Climate change mitigation in the agriculture, forestry and other land use sector

• Climate policy, including natural resource governance

• Climate finance, including carbon markets or other mechanisms

• Sustainable livelihoods and agricultural supply chains

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required; master’s degree is desired.

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in relevant field.

• Experience working in Ecuador required.

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
