Manager
A career within Assurance Support services, will provide the opportunity to support our engagement teams and clients by providing advice and counsel on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues. In joining, you’ll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information among our consultants and in turn with engagement teams and clients, provide experts advice on a variety of specific topics, support engagement teams in resolving complex issues, and supporting clients and their subsidiaries in evaluating the potential impact of accounting and reporting standard setting initiatives. You’ll develop strong relationships with our engagement teams and established audit clients and enhance our ability to meet greater investor expectations with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment.

• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting - Good understanding of IFRS and being able to interpret and apply IFRS appropriately in practice]
  
• Experience in specialist technical accounting advice and support
  
• Preparing technical accounting papers in a clear, concise and organised manner
  
• Experience ion reviewing financial statements for compliance with IFRS
  
• Minimum years experience required
  
• At least 4 years of experience within a professional services environment
  
• Candidates with specialised IFRS experience would be given priority

• The candidate will be achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high quality output
  
• Work independently but also from peers and understand the importance of consultations and discussion with peers and superiors
  
• Mandatory qualifications: ACCA
  
• Passion for continuous professional development, keeping up-to-date with IFRS developments and dealing with cutting-edge technical issues.
  
• Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  
• Ability to think critically, undertake relevant research, and develop well argued and reasoned technical accounting positions.
  
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual speakers will have an advantage.
  
• The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and worldwide as work dictates.
