Line of Service Overview
Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people based in 12 countries across the region and is part of Pw C’s global network that is operating worldwide. Pw C Middle East’s Assurance practice combines the right mix of human-led and tech powered solutions to provide our clients with quality audits and other risk services that create confidence and impact in our region and across society.
What is expected from you?
Our Risk Assurance practice provides a wide range of services and business advice that is not limited to Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Policies and Procedures, Governance, Internal Control over Financial Reporting, Process Intelligence, Compliance as well as Technology Risk.
As a manager in the Risk Support, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Your job duties will include several roles but will not be limited to:

Engaging and dealing with diverse teams from the planning through the completion phase of the audit as well as closely following up on the progress of the requested tasks to ensure meeting the timeline and the firm’s internal KPI’s.

Performing other procedures as necessary to support issuance of the assurance deliverables
Champion Role
-
Assurance i Power Champion - Key role in supporting the CAA and Ops staff from around the region with use, troubleshooting and practical issues with i Power. Provide ad hoc training as required.

Assurance VAT & Billing Champion - UAE & KSA billing champion with respect to VAT compliance and protocols.
-
Salesforce & Opportunity Champion for Assurance.
Assurance Reporting
-
Backlog Update and analysis, reporting of the unsold gap
-
Daily results updates for Stakeholder tracking.
-
Net Investment Analysis - Gross WIP, Aged WIP, Aged debts, Top 10 and Terminated staff reports; ensuring timely closures of codes and highlighting areas of concern.
-
Monthly debtor chasing for those receivables due to hit provision.
-
Conducting monthly Net Investment meetings with BU contacts in order to keep abreast with the latest developments.
-
Support in the Monthly review of credit notes and provisions in preparation for the annual external audit review.
-
Job Codes Review - 1% and unusual recovery rates.
-
Job Codes Review of internal billable / non-chargeable codes.
-
Monthly review of Direct Costs
-
Support in Monthly VAT compliance review.
-
Following up on Aged ITBs and ensuring timely clearing of invoices.
-
Tackling ad hoc requests i.e. revenue / NI / expense related,
-
Handling Mid-Month and Month-end Rollover.
What will you bring?
You are ambitious and get used to opportunities to grow and develop. In addition, you recognise yourself in the following characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or any relevant field
-
3-4 years in a relevant role (preferrable from a big 4)
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment

Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus
-
Business development and client relationship building skills
-
Willingness to challenge the ‘norms’ and to create a cohesive and effective working team
-
Excellent project management skills
-
Knowledge in using technologies, and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus
-
Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
