A Snapshot of Your Day

The EHS specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's environmental, health, and safety programs. This role ensures compliance with relevant regulations, fosters a culture of safety, and promotes sustainable practices within the workplace.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and report findings, recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Design and implement effective EHS procedures, and training programs.
  • Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Analyze incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and near-misses; prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to enhance safety protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of EHS activities, including training, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote green practices and initiatives.
  • Advocate for a safety-first culture through engagement and communication.
  • Organize safety campaigns and recognition programs to promote employee involvement.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in Transmission and high voltage business.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH Certification, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
