Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical industry, with a proven track record in designing complex mechanical systems. Proficiency in Solid Works and Auto CAD is essential, with at least 3 years of direct experience using these tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components for conveyor solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure the robustness of mechanical systems.
- Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and ensure performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and engineering issues during the development and deployment phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in mechanical design.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proven experience using Solid Works and Auto CAD, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in both tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Previous experience in conveyor system design is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering.
