Senior Telecommunication Engineer

- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Ensure the setup, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunication systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Apply security measures and protect data from cyber-attacks, ensuring compliance with security standards and policies.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex network and telecommunication system issues.
- Monitor system performance and analyze data to ensure stability, efficiency, and enhanced system performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals, including network upgrades, security improvements, and infrastructure expansions.
- Execute tasks assigned by the direct supervisor and contribute to the improvement of telecommunication processes.
- Keep up with technological advancements and continuously update skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in telecommunication engineering, network infrastructure, or network security roles.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience in server management, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of storage systems and database technologies.
- Experience in network security and information security, including firewalls, VPN, and anti-virus protection.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex problems.
- Ability to manage both LAN and WAN environments effectively.
- Experience with applying security measures and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Familiarity with monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving system efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, Comp TIA Network+, or similar.
- Experience working in the telecommunications or network engineering field.
