We are looking for a passionate Business Controller to drive our energy controlling activities in Raahe Mill.

About the position

Business Controller has an important role in our energy reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial data of our integrated steel plant’s energies. You will provide insights and analyses from different energy commodities that enables us to make right financial decisions. Future production process and energy resource transformations will guarantee interesting times ahead.

In addition to your colleagues in finance, you will work with the production, procurement and other stakeholders working with the energy topics. Your tasks include some administrative work.

The position is permanent and located in Raahe. We have adopted hybrid way of working that includes also partly working in our Oulu office.

Main responsibilities
Reporting energy costs in actuals, forecasts, and budget
Monthly closing activities related to energy purchases and sales
Driving energy improvements and participating named projects
Energy invoicing tasks
Reporting to Finnish authorities
About You
BSc or MSc in Engineering or Economics
Several years of experience in business controlling or energy reporting in industrial setting
Solid understanding of financial processes and/or energy commodities in process industry
Business oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to lead development actions, and drive change across organizations/stakeholders
Proactive, team player mindset, achieves results and meets the deadlines
Good MS Excel skills, SAP experience is an advantage
Fluent Finnish and English
