On behalf of our technology industry customer in Espoo we urgently look for a CHIEF ENGINEER to strenghten the in-house Plant and Solution engineering design team. You manage and coordinate the design activities of our global plant arrangement design projects executed in the customer's offshore locations. Your main task as Chief Engineer would be to act as a project lead and manage quality, schedule, and cost in your projects. Further you will participate in developing customer's plants and engineering solutions, as well as providing support and plan requirements to procurement. In close team interaction you will grow into a piping design lead building on the technical insights derived from every project. Assignment duration is until further notice and following a successful ramp-up work can partly be done remotely. The work may include on-site trips meeting the end-customer. This role is also suitable for freelance entrepreneurs part of our supplier network.

In this position, you also need good interpersonal skills, as you need to work in close co-operation with various stakeholders. We expect of you:

• to be readily available at site in Espoo, Finland.

• relevant M.Sc./B.Sc.engineering degree.

• at least 3 years relevant work experience and documented commitment to work quality and schedules.

• preferably design experience in E3D, Microstation 3D and Open Plant.

• good skills communicating fluently both by speaking and writing in English.

• and of course, attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as team member on simultaneous projects under the occasional time-pressure.
