About the role
Reporting to the General Manager - Northern Europe, this role leads, directs and manages the Finnish market through both a direct and indirect reporting structure. As a member of the Northern Europe Leadership Team, the role provides clear leadership and direction to drive the business and sales strategy, grow revenue and deliver on the key strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creation and communication of a compelling vison for the Finnish market aligned to the overall Global strategy which employees can connect to.
- Accountable for the sales, revenue, operating expenses, and profitability of the market and works closely with Finance to manage and measure results, identify trends, and take any corrective action.
- Continued development and implementation of the Sales strategy and structure to drive sustained sales and revenue growth across the market with focus on strategic customers and alliance partners to maximise customer engagement and create revenue upsell/cross sell opportunities within both existing and new accounts.
- Works closely with lines of businesses to recommend and champion innovation and the introduction of new products to drive growth.
- Drives a strong sales operational cadence across the business including account planning, business reviews, metrics, and reporting.
- Sets clear expectations of talent and performance management to measure and act upon.
- Coaches, develops, and challenges leaders and team members to exceed expectations, maintain high engagement and realize their full potential.
- Builds and develops a strong talented team based on the needs of the business focusing on succession planning and talent acquisition.
- Fosters engagement and collaboration with other functional areas e.g., Go-To-Market, Product, Marketing, Technology, to drive new thinking and opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities and challenges for both the Finnish market as well as the Northern Europe region and collaborates with relevant global functions to address market needs e.g.; Data Quality, Technology requirements.
- Works closely with the marketing function to evaluate market trends and dynamics, competitor activities and customer requirements to keep D&B as a market leader.
- Acts as an advocate for our customers in both internal and external conversations.

- Proven experience of working as a Sales Leader with general management responsibility at a senior level in a similar sized company.
- An agent of change who can lead business transformation.
- Data inspired, leveraging market trends, customer insights to create differentiated customer value propositions.
- A prolific communicator with track record of inspiring, engaging, coaching, and developing leaders and teams to achieve the most successful outcomes.
- A talent obsessed, results oriented leader with the ability to inspire and take others on a journey; brings out the best in others.
- Track record of implementing successful sales strategies leading to strong sales and double-digit revenue growth.
- Innovative mindset embraces change and demonstrates ability to lead through change.
- Quick decision maker using facts and data.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a matrixed reporting structure.
- Confidence and maturity to gain instant credibility to lead and influence.
- Experience of working in a global company with a matrix structure.
- Financial services/data & analytics industry background.
- Experience of leading teams directly and indirectly.
- Educated to at least degree level.
