In this role you will be part of a team responsible for VR financial services, including accounting, reporting and analysis. You will focus on named business units and legal entities.

We are looking for a team player, with experience on financial accounting. You are not afraid of process development, automation nor harmonization of processes, and you feel home in international and fast changing environment.

Main responsibilities include:

• Execute financial reporting across the group including reporting in IFRS and FAS
• Prepare timely, high-quality and efficient financial reporting including year-end reporting and tax declarations
• Support in establishment of business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls and support the development of controls across VR group
• Be part of automation and improve VR Group financial reporting and related processes
• Support pears, management and other stakeholders in various financial topics
• Tackle ad-hoc tasks with agility

You have

• B. Sc. or M.Sc. in Finance/Accounting/Economics
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English, Swedish is an advantage
• Experience from accounting and financial reporting including development of related processes
• Experience on finance process development
• Agile and development oriented mindset
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Pro-active approach and solution-oriented ways of working
• Good team player spirit but you are capable of working also alone
