In SOK Digital Development we develop web services and apps used by the end-customers and highlighted by the regular dialogue between digital and IRL worlds. We work in agile teams, where developers, QA and Dev Ops engineers, designers, and data and business professionals work together towards shared goals. What started four years ago with four engineers and one mobile application, has grown to approximately 150 tech professionals (and we keep growing) and several web services and apps in five different business verticals: banking; grocery e Com; home and family supplies e Com; hospitality; and service station and fuel/electricity selling.
We believe in community internally and externally, are design conscious, pride ourselves on our open-source commitment, our blossoming Dev Ops culture, and our use of modern tools and democratic development standards for a holistic philosophy to modern and pure software development practices. What inspires many of us are the co-operative values behind our operations. We are not on the leash of VC capital or investors, rather we develop services directly for our customers, who are also our owners. We operate with freedom and the responsibility that comes with it.
S-Pankki is the only retail chain owned bank in Finland and has more than 3 million customers. By combining the retail and banking services, we enable S-Group’s co-operative mission: making daily lives easier for our co-op members. We are the customer-owners' own bank, more than a full-service bank.
We strive to ensure that our customers always feel that they are getting a little more than they might have expected. We are developing a digital platform to improve customer experience by offering software capabilities to be utilized in S-Bank's all digital channels.
You would be joining the team which operates in two squads and is building customer facing applications using modern technologies. Your job will have concrete and rewarding end-results which you can experience yourself by using S Group’s services.
