We are excited to announce an opportunity for a General Manager, Environment & Abatement, to join our Plant Expertise & Performance team within the Engine Power Plant Technology organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the environment and abatement competence areas and solutions, ensuring our technology solutions meet current business needs and future strategic development goals.

As the General Manager, you will head the Environment & Abatement team, responsible for developing a roadmap to ensure our products remain competitive and aligned with our Energy strategy. The team has two primary responsibilities: providing environmental expertise to support our sales and delivery organization in developing and delivering solutions that meet project requirements, and building capability for taking ownership of Wärtsilä CSO solutions to be fully integrated into our operations.

You will be a member of the Plant Expertise & Performance Management Team and report to the General Manager, Plant Expertise & Performance.
The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Helsinki and Turku are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
