We are now looking for a visionary and experienced leader to act as the Head of Dev Ops and Cloud unit. This consulting unit specializes on Dev Ops, AWS, cloud solutions, software development, quality assurance, and strategic technology advisory. In addition to leading the consulting unit in Finland, you will play a key role in the success of our global business unit. This position is vital for ensuring collaboration across international teams and driving global initiatives that align with company-wide strategic goals.
This role is key to the success of Eficode and your mission will be to achieve business success. You will report directly to the CEO of Eficode Finland and will collaborate closely with the global Dev Ops & Cloud business area lead.
Your role and responsibilities
Together with your team which consists of team leads and lead consultants, you’ll drive the strategic vision, develop consulting sales and ensure that our consulting services deliver exceptional value to our customers.

• Leadership & Strategy:

You are accountable for the Finnish business unit’s goals, results, revenue growth and profitability. You ensure that KPIs and financial targets are met.

You will ensure market leadership of the unit and market expansion in Finland.

Being part of the Global Dev Ops steering group, you will collaborate to develop and execute the strategic vision for the Dev Ops and Cloud business unit, aligning with the company’s broader goals.

You achieve operational excellence and ensure client satisfaction, by guaranteeing that all processes and tools are optimized.

• Business Development & Client Engagement:

You spearhead business development initiatives to expand our client base and deepen our relationships with existing clients.

You collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to close high-value deals.

You are a central player in key customer engagements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

• Technical & Strategic Advisory:

You provide thought leadership and strategic advisory services to C-level executives at client organizations, guiding them on leveraging Dev Ops, cloud, and software development to drive business transformation.

You stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, positioning the business unit as a leader in innovative Dev Ops and cloud solutions.

You lead the adoption of best practices across the business unit, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Team Leadership:

As the Head of the unit, you foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your role is to inspire, lead, and mentor your team, ensuring that each leader is equipped to drive their respective teams toward excellence.

You make sure your team has everything they need to achieve the business targets, client satisfaction as well as talent attraction and development.
You monitor and report on the performance of the business unit, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.

Areas that will help you to stand out:

• Business leadership experience: track record in a senior leadership role, overseeing service delivery in Dev Ops, cloud computing, or software development. Proven ability to manage business units with significant revenue targets and operational complexity.
• Technical expertise: solid understanding of Dev Ops methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), and modern software development practices. Also, knowledge and interest of how AI can be applied to the software development lifecycle.
• Business acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting and driving business growth for a business unit. Prior experience in IT consultancy is a plus.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills: ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term goals. Experience in adapting to evolving market trends and leveraging new technologies to stay competitive.
• People leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring senior leaders and consultants across multiple teams. Strong ability to inspire and drive performance through empowerment, accountability, and collaboration.
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills: ability to influence, build relationships and trust with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (and/or strong relevant industry background) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related fields.
