• Duration: 6 months, full-time, fixed-term.
• Location: Hakaniemi, Helsinki, with the flexibility of hybrid work.

What you will be doing:

As an HR Trainee, you’ll work closely with our experienced HR team, taking on a range of responsibilities that will help you build a strong foundation in HR. Your key tasks will include:

• Performance Management: You’ll support the performance review process by ensuring data accuracy, updating information in our HR system (Workday), and coordinating training sessions. You’ll also assist HR Business Partners in communicating with managers to ensure a smooth performance management cycle.
  
• HR Administration and Support: You’ll play an essential role in the recruitment process, preparing documentation such as job offers and managing benefit administration. You’ll maintain accurate employee records, update HR systems, address employee inquiries, and provide support for various HR initiatives.
  
• HR Projects: You’ll participate in key HR projects, including the implementation of Workday Time-Management and the development of HR processes. Your input will help improve efficiency and enhance employee engagement across the organization.
  
• Ad Hoc Support: You’ll assist with additional tasks as needed, gaining exposure to various aspects of HR and building a well-rounded skill set.
  

What you need to succeed:

• Some prior experience in HR or a related field (such as a summer job, previous traineeship, or university project).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage; Finnish is not required).
• Strong digital skills and a data-oriented mindset.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• The ability to work somewhat independently after the onboarding period, with support and guidance from the team always available.
• A hands-on approach, a willingness to ask questions, and a desire to learn and develop in the HR field.
• On-going B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in HR or a relevant field.
