We are now seeking a talented and aspiring HW Engineer to join our innovative R&D team. Convenient location for the job is Oulu, Finland.
What you’ll do
The ideal candidate will have a few years of background in electronics design and a passion for creating high-quality products. In this position, you will be mainly responsible for the electronic designs for our new products. You will be responsible for selecting the key components, design the desired functionalities and make sure that the hardware meets both the customer needs and compliance requirements. Your role includes working in project teams consisting of your closest stakeholders, e.g. sourcing, quality, production testing, compliance, mechanics and embedded software. You will also be part of our electronics team, where we have experienced and supportive colleagues to ensure your success.

What you’ll bring:
- A minimum of a few years of experience in electronics design
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Proficiency in schematics and layout design
- Experience with design verification processes
- Experience with product development processes
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Knowledge in electronics manufacturing processes and standards
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English both written and oral
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of baseband HW
- Understanding of NFC and RF technologies is a plus
- Experience in electronics design software(s)
- Experience in product data management system(s)
- Understanding of the regulatory requirements such as the EMC and ESD standards
- Willingness to learn and seek for the new solutions
