We are looking for a lead developer for our client company Vivid Works Oy to take technical leadership responsibility, spearhead and help shape new innovations and coach and support the rest of the team. As a lead dev, you will be actively participating in product discovery and product delivery with variable emphasis over time.
About the role
Vivid Works' product is used by over 50 businesses mostly in Europe and but also in Asia-Pacific and Americas in both retail and manufacturing as a mission critical sales tool. You will work in product team developing the core offering of Vivid Works. Immediately upon start you will be able to contribute on something new and exciting Vivid Works is working on that they are happy to share more during the interview stage.
Ideally you would live within commuting distance of Oulu office near Ainolanpuisto or Helsinki office in Arabianranta, but this requirement isn’t carved in stone. You are offered flexible working arrangements, but the team enjoys meeting face-to-face regularly as well. You will have to travel occasionally to in-person meetings arranged by the team or company.
You must have an existing work permit to work in Finland or you are a citizen of Finland. You speak and write well in English. Finnish language is not a pre-requisite for the job but is a plus.
Work tasks
Your main emphasis will be to lead in product delivery, but to shape the technical direction you will need to actively seek and learn about our customers business and IT architecture.

We are looking for
In this role tech stack is C# ASP.NET, React, Redux, Typescript, JS, Node.js, Three.js, PHP, Python, Open CV, Unity, SQL, Docker. This will evolve over time.

• You must be expert proficient with C# ASP.NET and proficient with as many of the other techs as possible. You are expected to learn all the tech over time to some degree.
• CI/CD pipeline is built into Azure Dev Ops and contains build and deployment automation, unit tests, integration tests and end to end tests using Bicep, C#, Playwright and Power Shell which you and the team maintain and develop continuously.
• Vivid Works is using Scrum and leverage Dev Ops practices, and you are expected to actively lead and develop our methodologies.
• Vivid Works infrastructure is composed mainly of the following Azure services: Azure AD B2C, App Services, Key Vault, Front Door(CDN), Cosmos DB, Blob stores, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Dev Ops, MS SQLServer
• Daily IT is Microsoft 365, Slack, Linear, Confluence, Sharepoint, Teams (mostly for calls), Lucidchart/Miro/draw.io, Visual Studio Enterprise, Visual Studio Code
