Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:

• Conducting general laboratory duties including the preparation of standard solutions and resin mixtures, routine chemical analysis, and the calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Carrying out evaluation of laboratory and customer samples to progress development projects.
• Recording and documenting testing and analysis into project planning and tracking databases.
• Supporting and evaluating test pieces required for physical tests in support of the wood composites business.
• Assisting in laboratory work associated with the investigation of any technical service or customer complaints.
• Where applicable, carrying out statistical analysis to laboratory results and present/document findings.
• Ensuring continuous improvement in HS&E standards in line with Company and Statutory HS&E requirements.

What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other equivalent.
• Strong background in science and mathematics.
• Prior experience in laboratory work.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
• Valid driving license and readiness to do occasional travelling in Finland.
