- Conducting general laboratory duties including the preparation of standard solutions and resin mixtures, routine chemical analysis, and the calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Carrying out evaluation of laboratory and customer samples to progress development projects.
- Recording and documenting testing and analysis into project planning and tracking databases.
- Supporting and evaluating test pieces required for physical tests in support of the wood composites business.
- Assisting in laboratory work associated with the investigation of any technical service or customer complaints.
- Where applicable, carrying out statistical analysis to laboratory results and present/document findings.
- Ensuring continuous improvement in HS&E standards in line with Company and Statutory HS&E requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other equivalent.
- Strong background in science and mathematics.
- Prior experience in laboratory work.
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Fluent Finnish and English.
- Valid driving license and readiness to do occasional travelling in Finland.
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team on a temporary basis. This role will run from April 1st, 2025, to October 31st, 2025. It's an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the chemical industry and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
