We are now looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join the Procurement and quality team in Lappeenranta, Finland. In this role, you will be responsible for the project's success through the 3rd party manufacturers. The role is crucial in providing results with on-time deliveries, cost savings through negotiations, and complete transparency to our internal customers and stakeholders, positively impacting internal processes and vendor/customer relationships. In this position, you will report to the Project Procurement and Quality manager.

As a project Procurement Manager, you will

• Effectively lead and manage the bidding process and negotiation of capital equipment supply for projects and customer orders
• Manages the entire delivery schedule of projects
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers regarding escalations and providing troubleshooting measures to ensure on-time delivery
• Prepare and present project status and red flags to peers and upper management
Works with the Procurement Specialist to ensure timely issuance of purchase orders following contract deliverables

To succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent is desired but not required
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience
• Must be highly detail-oriented in both verbal and/or written communications
• Must have strong negotiation and contract terms reviewing skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with international external and internal audiences
Capable of handling stress, exuding calm in stressful situations and meeting tight deadlines
