We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator for Minerals Business Area business objectives for our head office, Espoo.

In line with Minerals Business Area business objectives, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning & managing global marketing actions across varied platforms and channels. Primary responsibilities center around social media and material creation according to marketing plans. A robust interface with marketing teams globally to ensure Business Area marketing priorities are implemented and executed.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract.

What you'll do

• Overall responsibility for Minerals Business Area social media channels, including planning, content creation, and scheduling of posts.
• Responsible for producing content for Metso's intranet for the Minerals Business Area as well as updating Business Line intranet pages as instructed by the marketing team.
• Overall ownership of Media Portal/Qbank material storage for all sales and marketing materials.
• Updating website content through the web editing platform Episerver
• Responsible for monthly reporting and analytics for all Business Lines across the Minerals Business Area
• Supporting the Minerals Business Area marketing team with various tasks, including marketing materials, content creation from copywriting to Power Point creation, and digital marketing campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibility

Solid reporting line to Vice President, Sales Development and Marketing, Minerals Business Area.
Operational reporting to Senior Marketing Manager, Minerals BA.
Interface with global communications and marketing team, aligning internal, external communication& digital marketing initiatives.

Employees are expected to adhere to Metso's established Leadership Principles.

Who you are

Education/Training

• Candidate must have a degree/diploma in marketing.
• Experience in marketing positions. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight schedules. Capability of taking on multiple simultaneous projects and tasks, occasionally acting as project lead but mainly working with a hands-on approach.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Good social skills and networking abilities
• Willingness to work across multiple time zones
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and desire to learn
• IT skills: Office 365 and basic knowledge of Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design,Premiere Pro)

Are considered a plus

• B2B marketing experience
• Basic level digital marketing skills: marketing automation, web, SEO, social media skills, and digital advertising (for example, Episerver, Piwik Pro)
