Join Our Team as a Software Architect at EG Construction!
We are on the lookout for a Software Architect to join our development team and work primarily with our EG Jydacom product, part of EG Construction, an industry-leading solution. Our customers take care of all the core functions of a construction company: offer calculation, production, financial administration, payroll, procurement, official notifications and access management.
You will work closely together with our product managers, product owners, software developers and testers as well as other software architects in the company. In cooperation we find and implement solutions that address the needs of the operators in the construction industry.
Shape the future of Technology and Architecture
Together with the team, you will lead our efforts to further design and develop the EG Jydacom solution to meet our customers' needs. You will act as a key decision-maker throughout the process, shaping how software solutions will be designed, developed and implemented. You will create the big picture architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.

Furthermore, your tasks will include:
- Ensuring security, performance, quality and consistency of the software architecture
- Transforming business requirements from product management into clear and practical solution designs
- Advising on technologies for implementation of each component and connections between the components according to reference architecture
- Performing architectural reviews and code reviews
- Ensuring overall that the solution is well-documented and maintained
- Supporting the integration of the team's work and solutions inside the business unit
- Contributing the actual software development by adding new features and functionalities
We are working in an international environment, and you will also have the possibility to work in a hybrid working model.
What We're Looking for
We are looking for you who:
- Possesses strong knowledge of the software development process and its technologies
- Has MS SQL Server knowledge and deep software development knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, C#, Angular, Type Script
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of modern processes like Dev Ops.
- Understands the requirements and properties of large-scale systems and data structures.
- Has hands-on experience with data modeling and database design
- Understands how SDLC supports building high-quality software at low cost
- Has experience in implementing Security practices inside a software product and in hosting applications in public cloud, preferably MS Azure.
- Understands well the business and can translate business requirements into solutions.
- Exhibits a pragmatic, hands-on approach, good co-operation skills and experience in working in an international environment.
- Can communicate in both Finnish and English
