As part of EG's construction division, EG Jydacom offers software specifically developed for the construction industry. Our solution enables customers to manage all core functions of a construction company, including bid calculation, production, financial administration, payroll, procurement, regulatory notifications and access management.
Want to combine challenging software development work with a Scrum Master role, where you play a key role in getting the team to perform as its best?
We are looking for a Scrum Master, with dedicated software developments tasks to lead and support our development team in demanding software development projects, ensuring high-value outcomes for our customers.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Being the expert in the Scrum framework and building the company-specific and relevant Scrum approach to support all EG Jydacom team members.
• Managing the scrum process with the development team, in the spirit of agile practices and principles, and facilitating Scrum events, such as dailies and sprint planning.
• Contributing to the actual software development work as a SW Developer
• Ensuring successful version deployment according to release plan
• Supporting the product owners e.g. by ensuring that goals and scope are clear in the development team
• Coaching the development team to be self-organizing and work across different functions.
• Building and developing the co-operation between internal stakeholders
• Supporting the adaptation of the scrum methods and principles in the whole organization.

As a Scrum master you will not have a direct supervisory role, but you will work closely with the team's people manager with the common objective of supporting the team to succeed.
EG offices in Finland are located in Espoo, Jyväskylä and Tampere. You can work from the office that suits you best. We are working in an international environment, and you will also have the possibility to work in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications:
We are looking for you who:

• Are an experienced software developer with experience in the Scrum framework and agile software development
• Has technical expertise in front and/or backend programming
• Has also preferably previous experience from any of these tools: Angular, Typescript, .NET, C#
• Possesses strong coaching and facilitation skills to introduce the agile practices and support building well-working teams as well as to help the team to come to solutions
• Has good communication skills both to support the team in discussion and planning as well as to give constructive feedback for the team to further develop
• Exhibits a pragmatic, hands-on approach, good co-operation skills and experience in working in an international environment.
Is fluent in both Finnish and English
