Job Description

As a lawyer, you join the Legal Restructuring team of the Legal Department, who is in charge of advising the Restructuring and Special Affairs Department as well as the various Natixis businesses on restructuring operations targeting counterparties in France or abroad, in amicable or collective procedures.

On a daily basis, you are responsible for:

Providing advice and legal assistance on restructuring operations (in France or abroad - amicable or collective procedures): analysis and legal structuring of the assembly, drafting and/or negotiation of legal documentation (credit documentation and amendments, protocols, collateral documentation) ;
Carry out the legal processing of files in which the French or foreign counterparty is the subject of insolvency proceedings (advice, relations with the councils, with the procedural bodies);
Process and follow the pre-litigation and contentious recovery procedures in France and abroad of Natixis' receivables: determination of the best strategy, the timeliness of legal actions, choice of lawyers, review of assignments and conclusions;
Participate in the life of the Restructuring team (promote the sharing of knowledge and good practices) and contribute to legal working groups on cross-cutting topics of the Legal Department.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If you recognize yourself in the following description, you are made to work with us!

With a higher education in law, you have at least 5 years of experience in business law, with a dominant collective procedures and litigation and/ or banking law within a legal department of a business bank or a law firm.

You are familiar with:

The law of obligations;
The law of collateral;
The law of collective proceedings;
Civil and commercial litigation.

You have an excellent relationship, a very good listening ability, you are:

Rigorous;
Autonomous and responsive;
Curious and analytical.

You master English with a C1 level.
