Duties

The incumbent is responsible for the ordering, reception and issuing of maintenance and repair expendable supplies for approximately 2,400 unscheduled Facilities work requests received annually and for Facilities projects and for the ordering, reception and issuing of Facilities tools and equipment. The contents of the Facilities Expendable Supply store consist of 452 different items (total quantity of items is in the order of 25,000) which have a value of $175,000, the expendable supplies and materials received / issued per year have a value of $240,000 and the Facilities tools and equipment have a value of $85,000.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:

At least three years' experience working in logistics, stock/inventory management, data entry, book-keeping, in wholesale or retail (buying and/or receiving) is required.


Un minimum de trois ans d'expérience professionnelle dans la logistique, la gestion des stocks, la saisie de données, la comptabilité, dans le commerce en gros ou de détail (achat et/ou réception) sont requis.


JOB KNOWLEDGE:


A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook is required. Familiarity with the use of database software is required. Excellent knowledge of inventory procedures, record keeping, database entry and the operation of a receiving area is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


Must have valid, current French driver's license "B". Must have a French driver's license for more than 5 years. Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs (25-kgs) with reasonable accommodation, use moving equipment (trans-palette), have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

SALARY: the annual gross salary includes: the profit-sharing allowance, the vacation allowance, the bonus allowance and the “Comité d’Entreprise” allowance.

MEAL TICKETS
: Meal tickets have a face value of EUR 8.25/day. 60% of the daily amount is paid by the U.S. Government. An employee contribution of EUR 3.30 per ticket will be deducted in payroll. The number of meal tickets is limited to 202 workdays per year.


TRANSPORTATION:
Employees are eligible for a reimbursement of 50% of the cost of public transportation passes purchased for commuting purposes.


HOLIDAYS:
The U.S. Missions in France observe eleven U.S. holidays per year and up to ten French holidays.


For EFMs
, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
