As an Application Operations Workstudent you will assist in maintaining and optimizing the performance and availability of critical business applications. Furthermore:

• Together with the team, you will support the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of modern applications in production environments
• You will participate in projects for the introduction of new tools and technologies to enhance application reliability
• You will analyze operational data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement

The following qualities distinguish you:

• You are studying computer science, business informatics, or a comparable course
• You already have good knowledge of application operations, Dev Ops principles, or system administration
• You already have experience with one or more of the technologies mentioned below:

• Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana or similar
• Automation/Scripting: Bash, Python, or Power Shell
• CI/CD Pipelines: Git Lab or Azure Dev Ops
• Containerization: Docker, or similar tools

• You have good SQL knowledge for analyzing and managing application databases
• You have already gained initial experience in areas like microservices, incident management, or test automation
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent way of working
• You are a communicative team player and enjoy agile working methods
• You have good German and English communication skills
