We’re seeking someone to join our team as a GCM Syndicate Operations – Director (AVP) to provide first line support for new products and markets across Morgan Stanley's Global Sales and Trading business while being responsible for correctly settling and recording of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating operational risk, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and Automation.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships.

This is a Director (AVP-Equivalent) position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes

What will you be doing?

Prior experience of Middle Office, Trade Support, and GCM Operations functions required

Knowledge of settlement process and systems

General understanding of German Securities Banking law (KWG)

Strong data analysis skills and excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across the Firm

Fluent in written & spoken English required, German is highly advantageous

Able to communicate effectively with external clients and all levels of the organisation

Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

min 5years of relevant experience in the mentioned Job Field

QUALIFICATIONS
