Inventory Optimization Lead, Region Central Europe (m/f/d) - Temporary contract until March 2026

Job Description
As an Inventory Optimization Lead, you are a key contributor to our merchandising unit, focused on achieving the optimal balance between inventory levels and customer demand between markets, warehouses and selling channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Inventory team with analysis and tools. Propose action based on analysis to proactively identify opportunities
- Be responsible for set up and follow up of Acceleration, Dynamic Pick Limit and Final push
- Support Allocation strategy with analysis and propose changes to Merchandise Manager
- Follow up Size availability in Running Items, NOOS
- Act as a SMT & KL/OST super user
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Inventory Optimization Lead (RCEU) we believe you have a high level of salesmanship, combined with strong analytical skills, enabling data-driven decision making that aligns with commercial focuses.
In addition, you have a collaborative personality with excellent communication skills, fostering teamwork and effective collaboration across departments.
What you need to succeed:
- University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Extensive experience in functions as Merchandising, Controlling or similar roles
- Deep understanding of allocation, inventory optimization, logistics operation & store operations
- Broad understanding of buying, commercial planning and store sales & operations
- Advanced Excel user with strong analytical capabilities
- Programming skills are a plus
- Experience in other analytical roles is advantageous
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Hamburg or Berlin / Germany, which is limited until March 2026.
