Lead Engineer Instrumentation (m/f/d)
- Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)
Your Tasks
- Development of competitive technical solutions
- Application of QM regulations, methods, standards and design tools
- Coordination and harmonisation with all project participants
- Checking compliance with technical qualities and contractual service content
- Technical management and coordination of the I&C part until the end of the warranty period
- Creation of order-related process logics based on existing documents
- Creation and maintenance of the relevant project documents for field planning, e.g. instrument list, limit value list, signal exchange lists and hook-ups
- Checking the process engineering documents / flow diagrams
- Checking supplier documentation
- Technical support for sales during quotation and contract negotiations
- Ensuring technical change management with regard to costs and deadlines
- Participation in offer and processing kick-offs as well as contract award negotiations
- Collaboration in the maintenance of expertise and the creation of standard documents
- Ensuring the flow of information within the department and across departments
- Participation in project and team meetings as well as department meetings
Your Profile
- Completed studies or qualified technical college training in electrical engineering with a focus on measurement technology
- Several years of experience in project planning and handling instrumentation in large-scale plant construction or a comparable field of activity
- Relevant experience with hook-ups
- Ability to work constructively in a team, negotiating skills and self-motivation
- Independent and autonomous way of working
- Intercultural interest and willingness to travel
- Good understanding of the legal context and implications of the contract in the offer and execution phase
- Confident handling of common MS Office products
- Experience in working with programming software (e.g. Logi Doc)
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
