Your contribution to Tenne T

The Project Engineering team within Grid Field Operations Offshore is accountable for risk-based project planning and development (category 1-3) as well as for the project execution of the existing offshore grid connection systems in the Netherlands and Germany in a safe and sound manner to safeguard the security of supply.

You will be leading a team of 12 team members, especially motivation, inspiring, coaching and development of people
You contribute to and co-own strategy developments and its implementation
As a team lead you ensure the implementation of project management governance (guidelines and principles), defined by the Project Excellence team
The execution of special category 3 projects as well as cross-area projects, including project tendering, detailed engineering and execution are your responsibility
You ensure that your team actively contributes and co-owns Excellence Processes, Standards and Guidelines

Your profile and background

Academic working and thinking level and a relevant engineering degree or comparable
Relevant working experience as well as project management certificates (IPMA, PMP or combarable)
Leadership vs. Management: being able to balance transactional and transformational leadership in the best interest of the team
Leadership: being an inspiring and motivating leader by providing orientation and guidance for all team members with respect to Mission & Ambitions; establishing a high performance culture based on a high quality of interaction (strong team cohesion) and quality of direction (solution and progress orientated way of thinking and working)
Management: applying management functions and systems (organizing, planning, controlling, staffing, directing) as required to ensure business performance and development; Strategic thinking, hands-on mentality and result orientation; Strong entrepreneurship, determination and pragmatic problem solving.
Stakeholder Management: develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders on Management level, who are essential for achieving results. Influences others in their perspectives and actions, understands the interests and decision-making process for stakeholders, and based on this develops win-win solutions
Empathy & Reflectiveness: high level of self-reflection and willingness to learn and change; willingness to understand the needs of others as well as supporting them in self-reflection and development
Curiosity: intrinsic motivation to understand problems/challenges and to experiment with new concepts/ideas
Determination: having the attitude accepting failing/mistakes but not accepting not trying; willingness and motivation to achieve results and getting energy from demanding challenges

Grid Field Operations is executing Field Operations, Maintenance and (Baseload) Projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of our assets entrusted to us, while also ensuring their maximum availability. We make sure that the onshore grids of Tenne T is reliable in Germany and the Netherlands.
