We are a remote-first climate tech start-up based in Germany that uses technology to advance the vision of a net-zero economy.

Simplifying calculations of carbon emissions is our aspiration, aiming to enable companies to take data-driven decision-making on lowering their carbon footprint as efficient and swift as possible, granting them transparency and control over their own emission reports.

We’re still young, and ideas and developments are fast and changing, but we’re aiming for stable enterprise software while scaling up the already existing customers we've built over the last 4 years.

The Sales team is leading the next phase of commercial growth and has significant impact on the future of our company. Following a consultative sales and outbound approach the team is focusing on five specific sectors within the DACH region. Winning these sectors within the region is the first step towards positioning KMX as the go-to, trusted experts in carbon footprint accounting and enabling organisations across the globe to reach their net-zero targets.

What you do:

We're looking for a marketing assistant to join our team. Why is this so important? To have maximum impact on the climate crisis, we must work with customers for the long-term. To achieve this, we have to make sure their initial experience with Klima.Metrix (KMX) is exceptional.

You'll contribute to this exceptional experience by:

• Working with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns
• Qualification of customers and potential prospects for the sales area
• Communicating with potential customers and maintaining customer relationships
• Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
• Arranging appointments for sales managers
• Follow-up and maintenance of leads

What you need to fit in well with us:

We are looking for a person who is able to work 10-20 hours a week. We are very open for students and career changers.

To be a great candidate to join our calculation team, you need to have:

• Interest and/or initial experience in sales and marketing
• Strong communication skills and a confident manner
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and reliability
• Good written and spoken German and English skills

Optional things that impress us:

• Experience of Sustainability consulting
• Qualifications linked to sustainability
• Experience with low-code or now-code tools in the Microsoft environment
