This position reports to
Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this position, you will provide sales and operational support for DCS & HSI (800x A Operations, Melody, AC800M), Controller and I/O’s in the service region Minden (PAEN-SIS, Germany). Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing support for customers, sales & project managers • Preparing standard quotations • Exceeding customer expectations by appreciating and anticipating current and potential needs • Ordering and Coordinating logistics of resources and spare parts for all site Service jobs • Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer serviceQualifications for the role
- Several years of experience in Automation
- Knowledge of process control technology
- Sound knowledge of office especially Excel
- Ability to travel mainly within northern Germany
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- A completed degree in engineering/Technician or similar
- Fluency in German and English – both spoken and written
