Promotions Process Specialist, DE Marketplace Promotions

FULL TIME

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Engineering or related degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Extensive SQL and coding experience in Python or other commonly used programming languages (Java, Java Script, etc.) required
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential to the role
  • Experience solving analytical problems, either in professional experience (data analysis) or education.
  • Ability to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Outlook, Power Point).
Amazon German Marketplace is looking for a Promotions Process Specialist to join our teams in Berlin.

In this role, you will deep dive on existing processes and work with a broad group of internal stakeholders globally (e.g. BI and Finance, Promotions tech teams, marketing, seller support, etc.). To be successful in this role, you will need to be process and data driven, and a problem solver. You will need to be highly analytical, think and act fast, and be adept at finding creative, scalable solutions to complex problems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong functional and communication skills. She/he should have the ability to deep dive and co-relate Promotions issues and AMs escalations to scale long term solutions, demonstrating a high level of ownership and contributing to enhance Customers and Selling Partners experience on Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots issues and liaises with Product Managers and Account Managers to document and escalate them.
  • Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data deep-dive skills and identifies trends to come up with improvement suggestions (i.e. building or improving existing reporting/tools)
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and Insist on the Highest Standards in the execution of the assigned tasks.
  • Take quick actions on ad hoc tasks (Deals validation and edits etc.) during peak time
  • A few years of work experience, ideally related to process management
  • Qualtrics skills
  • fluent German
