The Role

As Technical Service Manager, your role is to support the growth of our business by providing hands-on and remote support to Animal Protein customers, in close collaboration with the AB Enzymes’ Sales team. You will participate in developing and maintaining strong relationships to our customers as well as planning, running factory trials and identifying business opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
Technical expert to deliver Animal Protein solutions to customers

• Proactive account planning and sales analysis to maximise opportunities in the market and drive sales growth. Identifying, creating, quantifying and prioritizing such opportunities
• Achieve sales targets whilst also delivering key performance metrics with key accounts
• To build sustainable long-term relationships based upon multi-level contacts
• To effectively negotiate contracts and finalise deals to execution
• Deliver high accuracy in sales forecasting
• Collaborating closely with AB Enzymes’ global Key Account team and other internal partners to manage the daily relationships with customers
• Attending trade shows and industry conferences to develop contacts ascertain industry trends and promote AB Enzymes’ products

• Capture, document, and effectively communicate all relevant industrial Animal Protein application activities and share with the regional teams
• Strengthen internal application knowledge by collaborating with the application team in simulating industrial processes and developing new application ideas
• Prioritize and focus on growth opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives for the Protein industry
• Identify and explore new business opportunities through a combination of global market insight, customer engagement, and comprehensive analysis of the AB Enzymes portfolio against competitor offering

About You

We are looking for a customer-focused outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are a team player and you have proven technical project management skills. Furthermore:

• You have a degree in Food Technology, Process Engineering or a related field
• You have at least 5 years' experience in animal protein processing (e.g. Gelatine and collagen peptide production, meat rendering, or fish processing). Experience in the application of enzymes is an asset
• You can effectively translate between technology and customer needs, technically and commercially. You show flexibility, team spirit, customer-focus and results orientation
• You are a good presenter who can demonstrate complex topics in a clear and structured way
• You are willing to work with the global and regional teams across different time zones
• You are willing and capable to travel (~50% of the time), both within Europe as well as globally
• You have very good English skills (written and oral)
