WHAT YOU'LL DO

BCG’s ambitious global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) mission is both internally and externally focused:

• To lead and guide BCG's internal functions and businesses to make BCG a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization
• To partner with our clients to accelerate their DEI agendas
• To lead DEI societal change within organizations, including BCG, with innovative thought leadership and Seat-at-the-Table initiatives

As part of the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Team you will play a critical role in the strategic and day to day operations of our internal and external programs. Located in BCG's Global Services office in Munich, you will support ongoing DEI projects and initiatives including:

• The Access Ability@BCG network, our global employee resource group that seeks to foster inclusion and community among people with disabilities, mental health challenges, neurodiverse conditions, and chronic illnesses as well as caregivers (including network management)
• BCG’s efforts in recruiting, retaining, and advancing diverse employees
• Other responsibilities will include preparation of materials to support our internal and external DEI efforts such as publications or speaking engagements. This well-rounded role will also support overall management activities for the DEI practice.

Knowing Excel basics is a plus

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• You are currently an enrolled student in a university in Germany
• Ideally completed internships or gained some practical experience
• Demonstrated passion and commitment to DEI
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to work end to end: from admin tasks to strategic initiatives
• High level of initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and tolerance for ambiguity

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll work closely with the Global DEI team, a group of colleagues from around the world, who share the passion for making workplaces more diverse, equitable and inclusive. Our collaboration as a team is characterized by mutual support, an active exchange of experience, and trust. A DEI Manager based in Germany will be there to support you in familiarizing yourself with your new role and BCG.
In your daily work in the office, you will also interact with other Working Students, the broader Global Services Munich community as well as the EMESA DEI team. The Global Services office hosts more than 150 employees and is part of Germanys largest office with more than 1.000 colleagues.
