Costa Navarino also owns a controlling stake in Ionian Hotel Enterprises S.A. and a partnership with Lamda Development S.A. for luxury hotels in the Ellinikon project.
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant. This role involves contribution to the seamless execution of end-of-month closing procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting and financial records.
Key Responsibilities:

• Daily expenses’ – purchases’ postings,

• Vendors’ communication and reconciliation,

• Payments’ Preparation,

• Bank account’s postings and reconciliation,

• Balance sheet’s reconciliations,

• Tax obligations’ preparation,

• Assist with Month-End Close, supporting the team during the month-end close process,
• Filing and Documentation to maintain organized financial records by filing financial documents in physical or digital formats.

Requirements

• To be proactive, able to work under pressure, in a team environment,
• Responsibility with problem-solving & analytical skills,
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and financial records,
• Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors, customers, and internal teams,
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines,
• Strong ethics in handling sensitive financial information,
• Adaptability in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting, book-keeping or relevant role,
• Αssociate degree or relevant certificate in finance, accounting and Business Administration or related field,
• Advanced computer skills required for financial reporting and control of operations, including use of Microsoft Office,
• Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset,
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken),
• Military service completed for male applicants.
