What We are looking for
As an AML Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating emerging AML risks within the online gaming industry, assisting in drafting, updating, and maintaining the company's AML policies, procedures, and business risk assessments.
What you will work on
- Identify and mitigate emerging AML risks within the online gaming industry, including new products and jurisdictions.
- Assist in drafting, updating and maintaining the company's AML policies, procedures and business risk assessments.
- Work closely with the IT department to implement and enhance AML controls and transaction monitoring systems.
- Participate in internal and external AML audits, ensuring that any audit findings are promptly addressed and corrective actions are implemented.
- Collect and compile necessary data from internal systems for submission to regulatory authorities (e.g. transaction records, customer data, suspicious activity reports etc.).
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely submission of all regulatory filings and reports related to AML compliance.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in AML compliance, ideally within online gaming, banking, or fintech.
- Proven track record of drafting, updating, and maintaining AML policies and procedures that align with current regulatory standards.
- Experience in conducting AML business risk assessments, including identifying potential AML risks specific to the online gaming industry.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations, including those related to online gaming.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Good understanding of online gaming products.
- Familiarity with AML controls, transaction monitoring and reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek & English.
- High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
