We are looking for a full-time Copywriter with exceptional writing, analytical, and research skills. As a key member of our Communications team, you’ll create and edit content for a variety of platforms, including print, web, video, and social media. You’ll work closely with project managers and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and deliver clear, impactful messaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Content Creation: Produce original copy in both English and Greek, and edit content in alignment with the communications strategy. This includes writing for websites, press releases, newsletters, events, policy briefs, dissemination reports, presentations, video scripts, and more
  • Communication Plans: Collaborate with project teams to craft communication plans that highlight the objectives, achievements, and impact of KMOP’s initiatives
  • Social Media Management: Develop content and manage project-specific social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Linked In) to boost engagement and visibility
  • Website Management: Oversee content on KMOP’s websites, working alongside web developers to ensure a seamless and impactful online presence
  • Content Strategy: Propose innovative content ideas and partner with the communications team to enhance KMOP’s visibility and reach
  • Research: Conduct industry research on trends, best practices, and relevant topics to continuously improve the quality and relevance of all written content
The Copywriter:
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards as per organizational policies
  • Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethics for integrity in all procurement activities
  • Refers to the Communications Coordinator of the organization
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, Communication Specialist, Journalist, or in a similar role, ideally within the non-profit or social sector
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit
  • Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with analytics tools, experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), and knowledge of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp
  • A portfolio of published work is highly desirable
