BID MANAGER - PROPOSAL WRITER

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated “Bid Manager - Proposal Writer” to join our fundraising team. He/She will play a crucial role in the development of successful proposals and bids for various EU and National funding programs, including Horizon, AMIF, CERV, ΕΣΠΑ, ΤΑΜΕ, ΤΑΑ, Ερευνώ & Καινοτομώ, etc. His/Her role will require a broad interdisciplinary outlook, with the ability to engage in diverse sectors, such as social services, education, migration, human rights, employment, the social and greeneconomy, and health promotion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume full responsibility for the entire proposal development process, from identifying funding opportunities to finalizing and submitting your assigned proposals.
- Conduct in-depth research on call guidelines and criteria to ensure alignment of proposals.
- Write, edit, and proofread proposals and documents, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with program guidelines, while highlighting KMOP’s added value, impact, and innovative offer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and input, including project managers, subject matter experts, and finance professionals.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with leads, partners, programme authorities, and external stakeholders to gather support and strengthen collaborative efforts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the social sector, staying updated on relevant trends, policies, and best practices.
- Support the post-submission process, including attending debriefings, concluding contractualization, and addressing any follow-up questions or requests for additional information.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards as per organizational policies
- Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethics for integrity in all procurement activities
- Refers to the Head of Fundraising of the organization
- Bachelor's and Master’s degree in a field of human sciences. A Ph D will be considered an asset.
- Extensive experience and successful track record in developing proposals and securing grants from EU and National funding programs.
- Familiarity with platforms (e.g., F&T, ECAS, PADOR, ΟΠΣ, ΕΣΠΑ), forms (e.g., detailed budget form, lump sum, ΤΔΠ, ΕΑΚ), and procedures (e.g., PRAG).
- Near-native use of English, and excellent writing skills, both in Greek and in English, with the ability to craft persuasive, clear, and concise proposals, tailored to diverse funding programs.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and eligibility criteria.
- Strong knowledge of the social sector and familiarity with the fields of education, employment, migration, human rights, social economy, green economy, and health promotion.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage tight deadlines, and occasional periods of increased workload with composure and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills vis a vis collaborators, programme authorities, and stakeholders.
