What We are looking for
We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Compliance Associate to join our team and help strengthen our commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Legal and Compliance department by assisting in the issuance of certificates for companies, completion of compliance forms, maintaining registries, and handling banking records. You will also contribute to our Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), finance and treasury processes, supporting initiatives that promote transparency and mitigate compliance risks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate compliance, expand your knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and make a meaningful impact on our organization’s success.

What you will work on
- Assist regulatory compliance and customer compliance teams in drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and procedures to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of reports on audit findings and compliance status.
- Handle the issuance of certificates for companies, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Assist the legal department with the preparation of board minutes, powers of attorney and other legal documents.
- Maintain a log of issued certificates and ensure proper filing for future reference.
- Perform due diligence tasks as part of the compliance process, including collecting and verifying necessary information.
- Complete and manage compliance forms accurately, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
- Manage compliance-related registries and ensure all necessary records are updated and accessible.
- Contribute to the opening of accounts in banks or in payment institutions and to the legalization update needed for each bank account or merchant account.
- Oversee banking records to ensure they meet compliance standards and regulations.
- Assist with treasury compliance tasks, ensuring proper handling and reporting of transactions.
What you bring
- BSc in Law, Political Science, International and European Studies, or a related field; an MSc degree in a relevant field is highly appreciated
- 1+ year of professional experience in a Legal, Compliance, or similar role; internships or academic projects related to compliance are beneficial
- Basic understanding of corporate compliance principles, regulatory frameworks, and ethical business practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently on assigned tasks
