Let's start with the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our growing team. Embracing new challenges, converting data into meaningful and valuable information that drives business decisions and fostering an innovation mindset to push for enhanced operating efficiency, rather than maintaining the status quo, is part of our DNA.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the planning and budgeting process, preparing both recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis reports and assessing the financial feasibility of commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the budgeting process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Oversee budget revisions and forecasts to ensure accurate representation.
- Monitor costs and ensure they align with the budget.
- Direct the preparation of monthly management reports and quarterly financial reporting packages.
- Ensure the cascade of the financial business goals across all teams and define the detailed financial targets.
- Evaluate the viability of the commercial initiatives by developing business/valuation models, assessing their impact to business results providing rationale and comments to the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in Business Finance, controlling & reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, controlling and reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience in the development of feasibility studies and financial analysis reports.
- Very good knowledge of financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek & English.
- Critical thinking and ability to interpret and measure data.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Able to collaborate with teams to fully identify and achieve the company's needs.
- CFA certification will be considered as a strong asset.
