Group IT Senior Systems Administrator

(ref.: IT_SSA 09.2024)

The Position:
Reporting to the Group IT Systems Administration Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:

Administering, monitoring, supporting, and maintaining the Group systems infrastructure to ensure the undisrupted operation of the Group IT systems (Stores, E-commerce) and the best Customer Service.

Implementing all necessary IT routines and procedures

Participating in IT related projects and new stores establishments

Qualifications & Competencies required:
Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field will be considered as an asset)

8 to 10 years of experience in a similar job position.

Good knowledge on the below sections:
Installing and administering Microsoft’s OS server, Server applications

Authentication and Identity infrastructure (both on premise and on-cloud) administration

Mail infrastructure (both on premise and on-cloud) administration

System Center infrastructure suite administration

Familiarity with HPE server/storage systems

MS Hyper-V infrastructure Administration

Office 365 and Azure infrastructure suite administration

Administrative scripting language (powershell, etc)

SQL RDBMS infrastructure Administration and SQL scripting language

Experience in documenting procedures and manuals fixing for users

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL RDBMS scripting language

Good understanding of networks (LAN, WAN)

Co-ordinate and manage projects and deliveries to internal clients

Co-ordinate external partners and vendors

Good command of the English language

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem-solving skills

Strong Customer Focus

Good planning, organizational and follow up skills

Willing to learn and embrace new technologies

Team player

Qualifications considered as an asset:
Any training or certification in any of the below sections:
Certifications on Microsoft Systems Center suite administration

Certifications on Microsoft Azure Cloud Services administration

Certifications on Microsoft O365 administration

Certifications on Microsoft windows servers

Experience in Retail Business Processes and Systems
