Information Technology Manager

VARIO, as the member of INPACS for Greece and Cyprus, is a leading organization in the distribution of products and solutions in the fields of hygiene, cleaning, catering supplies, waste management and hotel amenities as well as personal protective equipment. VARIO was founded in 2004 and since then we operate in the professional market offering quality products and value-added services to all kind of commercial and industrial workplaces, hotels, health facilities, educational institutes, restaurants, caterings and so on. Our goal is to enhance operational efficiency and create safer, cleaner, and more sustainable environments for our customers.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate IT Manager to lead a team of 4 professionals in order to engage the right stakeholders, to identify needs and develop actions and strategies that can improve business processes and moreover to be responsible for the smooth running of our computer systems. She/He will refer to the Director of Operations.

Requirements
- BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant degree
- 3-5 years previous work experience as a Business Application Manager or Assistant IT Manager or IT Manager
- MSc in Information Technology or MBA will be considered an asset
- Experience in leading ERP implementation projects
- Experience in Power BI and SQL Scripting
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude
Responsibilities
- Monitor performance of information Systems (ERP, B2B Portal, Power BI, E-Shop), to secure system is fully functional based on customer and business requirements
- Define processes and standards in ERP Modules
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Develop and customize training material, documentation and testing of new functionalities
- Lead IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Coordinate external partners/consultants
- Monitor IT budgets to ensure cost effectiveness
- Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Fixed salary depending on qualifications
