DBC diadikasia , a leading management consulting firm in Greece, Southeast Europe and Brussels, is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated professional, an IT Support Officer , to join and strengthen our dynamic team in Athens, aiming at the continuous improvement and enhancement of IT systems, operations, processes, applications and equipment and thus contributing to a secure, effective and efficient IT environment that supports the business needs and objectives.

Job responsibilities

Setting up new equipment for users as needed (workstations, laptops, tablets, mobile phones)

Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365 and other cloud services

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance (office or remote)

Provide basic training and assist users in IT systems usage

Contact suppliers/vendors for new equipment, repairs and maintenance

Perform routine PC maintenance and updates for performance and security efficiency

Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

Monitor back ups

Assist with documentation and training material

Assist monitoring Internet service, firewalls, network (LAN, WLAN) and telephone systems

Assist with software and hardware upgrades in IT infrastructure

Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Initiate process improvements to better answer user demands

Manage corporate website

Qualifications

University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering

Relevant Master’s Degree will be considered a plus

Proficiency in English

At least two years of proven working experience in a similar position

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation, IT systems

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android and IOS

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Share Point, Teams, One Drive etc)

Excellent organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills
