Tempo OMD Hellas, one of the leading Media Agencies in Greece is currently looking for a:

Junior Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

Reconcile invoices and look for inconsistencies

Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

Keep both digital and physical financial records

Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Assist in preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports

Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies

Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries

Assist with other accounting projects

Maintain confidentiality of all financial data

The main requirements for this role are the following:
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required

Minimum 3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English

Business organizational abilities and familiarity with finance regulations

Ability to recognize numerical errors, good analytical and quantitative abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently on assigned duties

Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, specifically Navision will be considered a strong asset
