Lead Build Engineer (HPC infrastructure)

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating and supervising team of 3 HPC infrastructure engineers
- Prioritization, decomposition and distribution of technical tasks within the team
- Planning HPC roadmap in collaboration with Novartis internal team and 3rd party teams
- Providing leadership and expertise to support HPC infrastructure in compliance with all Gx P requirements
- Ensuring HPC infrastructure is properly documented according to Gx P requirements
- Participation in engineering and support activities
- Provide mentorship ang guidance to the team
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Experience architecting and configuring HPC
- Proficiency with Linux (any rpm based) including kernel modules compilation, debugging tools (strace, coredump, tcpdump, etc.)
- Job schedulers (IBM LSF, Slurm) knowledge
- Experience with Bright Cluster Manager including installation and configuring
- GPFS/Lustre filesystems skills
- Knowledge of Infini Band/Omni Path network interconnect
- B2+ English level
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with hardware: diagnostics, upgrade, tuning (HCA Infini Band, disk arrays - Lustre, Vast, IBM, servers Dell+HP)
- Infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix, Splunk, Grafana, etc)
- Easybuild knowledge
- Jira, Service Now skills
- Experience working in Gx P environment
