We are looking for a:
Legal Counsel
The life of a Legal Counsel @LEROY MERLIN:
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments across the company, including corporate governance, contracts, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, leases, and partnership agreements.
- Manage legal aspects of business transactions.
- Ensure the company complies with applicable laws and regulations, particularly in corporate, commercial, and labor law.
- Instruct and manage external law firms in litigation and dispute resolution matters.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment to ensure proactive compliance.
- Law degree from a recognized university and admission to the Greek Bar.
- 3-6 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within the retail or commercial sectors in a law firm or as an in-house counsel.
- Solid understanding of commercial, corporate, and labor law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and consultative skills, capable of working independently and effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior management.
- Adaptability, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Fluency in Greek and English is essential.
