Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, repair, and execution of preventative maintenance programs for fixed and mobile equipment at concrete production plants, ensuring timely restoration of malfunctions and that all systems are operational and safe.
- Coordination and supervision of internal or contractor crews to ensure proper implementation of repairs, modifications, and new projects.
- Drafting technical specifications for tender processes and overseeing the proper execution of related work.
- Procurement of spare parts, lubricants, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations.
- Scheduling and conducting inspections, certifications, and checks to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
- Monitoring and tracking the cost of maintenance for fixed and mobile equipment to optimize efficiency.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of safety and health systems related to equipment maintenance.
- Carrying out the duties of a Safety Technician and Maintenance Supervisor as required.
- Maintaining detailed records of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs, in line with company policies.
- Diploma or certification as a mechanical/electrical engineer. (AEI - TEI)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and practices.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough records.
- Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in computer skills. Any additional knowledge of SAP and Auto CAD will be considered a plus.
